How technology has changed education

Times have changed since I was in school. We didnít even have calculators (okay this is an exaggeration, but you get my point). Technology has changed the way we learn in so many ways, whether this be in schools, at work, or even just at home. In the past we would have had to travel all the way to a library to search up a simple fact and now you can pull up Google to easily search.I really appreciate the fact that technology can help people all over the world to not only learn, but to unleash their creativity and potential to the fullest. Whether this be using Microsoft Paint for the first time to draw a simple smiley face, to using Photoshop in a Graphic Design course. The possibilities are truly endless. With all of these advances in technology, it is also important to keep children safe online. I would recommend reading our blog post on keeping kids safe online here.On a personal level, I enjoy being able to be in contact with anyone at the touch of a button. If I wanted to read a book I can easily download one and begin to read it instantly. I can even prove someone wrong by quickly asking Siri a question. On another note, having all this knowledge in our pockets can help us feel less embarrassed. To Google, there are no stupid questions (and if there is, they donít tell us).We now see kids using iPads in schools to learn in a fun and interactive way. They help to engage the children. We know that no matter how careful they, or even you are, there is always a chance for them to be dropped or for them to break. At Mend My iPhone, based in Market Weighton, we are experts at mending broken tech! We have business plans that are perfect for the education sector. These include bulk discounts if you are on a budget, along with staff and student discounts no matter the situation. Get in touch today!
